  3. Life/General Insurance Products – Features, Benefits, Riders

  4. Policyholder Servicing – Claims, Grievances, Renewals

  5. Ethics & Customer Handling

  6. Premium Calculations & Documentation

  7. Regulatory Framework – Key acts like Insurance Act 1938

Exam Pattern:

  • 50 questions (MCQs), 60 minutes

  • Pass Mark: 35% (17 correct answers)

Phase I (Prelims – Objective)

  1. Reasoning Ability

  2. Quantitative Aptitude

  3. English Language

  4. General Awareness (esp. financial & insurance sectors)

Phase II (Mains – Descriptive/Objective)

  • Paper I: English (Essay, Precis, Comprehension)

  • Paper II: Economic & Social Issues + Insurance & Financial Sector Knowledge

  • Paper III: Specialization (Law, Actuarial, IT, etc.—if applicable)
