Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET):- For teaching posts in government schools under the Central Government.
Conducting Board: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)
Example: Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya Vidyalayas.
Eligibility:
- Primary Stage (Class I to V): Candidates must have passed Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, or a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
- Elementary Stage (Class VI to VIII): Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree.

Exam Details:
It consists of two papers. Paper I for primary stage teachers and Paper II for elementary stage teachers. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducts the exam twice a year.
